Franklin Park: Springtime in Forest Hills Cemetery

This past weekend, my wife and I took a walk in the Forest Hills Cemetery. Spring is in the air, flowers are on the trees, and I recently went back to iPhone and have been abusing my Hipstamatic app. Please forgive me.

The cemetery pre-dates Franklin Park and sits adjacent to it, on the opposite side of Morton Street. The grounds are very well kept, the scenery is beautiful and it certainly rivals the more famous Mount Auburn Cemetery, in my opinion. Below are a few pictures from our walk.

This is the Funeral Bridge, built to allow people to come and go in Franklin Park without disrupting funeral processions on their way to the cemetery.
